We offer a blended service at 10 a.m on Sunday mornings.
We offer something for everyone! There is a coffee time beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Adult Sunday School – This casual class meets in the library at 9 a.m. on Sundays to study selected books of the Bible as well as books by contemporary Christian authors. The Adult Sunday School class has taken the summer off and will resume in September.
Bible on Beacon – a weekly Bible study at the home of one of our congregation members. It is every Monday at 7 p.m.
Pastor’s Study – held in the church Library at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays. This is a book study and discussion.
Children’s Sunday School – during Sunday morning worship service. The children start off in worship and then go to their Sunday school class after Children’s Moments. We have a special needs teacher on staff as well.
Kid’s Club on Wednesday evenings 5 – 6 p.m. is for school age children K-6. It usually involves a devotional, craft activity and a snack. See youth page for details.
Youth Group (grades 7-12) is on most Sunday evenings from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. It is a chance for older youth to fellowship and learn how to be a Christian in today’s world. See youth page for details.
Children’s Choir – This group performs a few times of year for special occasions. Practice is usual weekly immediately following worship for the month leading up to the performance.
Second Serving Saturday – On the second Saturday of every month, we provide a free community meal from 5:30 to 6:30. Everyone is welcome to come and eat and to fellowship.
Simple Needs Ministry – This ministry provides basic necessities for those in need. These include toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, brushes, shampoo, soap, warm clothing, blankets and many other things that the needy in the community need.
S.E.M. – We collect donations every month for distribution through the SEM Food Pantry.
UMCOR – We collect throughout the year for special projects set aside by the United Methodist Church.
