Palm Sunday commemorates Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem for the Jewish holiday of Passover, where he was greeted with palm branches and shouts of “Hosanna”.
It marks the beginning of Holy Week and is also known as “Passion Sunday” in the Methodist Church.
For this worship we will offer palm fronds to our worshipers, and a reading of the passion narrative, focusing on Jesus’ betrayal, arrest, trial, and execution.
All are welcome, we will save a seat for you!
